The Director of the Centre is Professor Joanna Wardlaw and the Scientific Business Manager is Dr Duncan Martin.

The Centre has two key remits:

1. To support clinical research in neuroscience
2. To be a resource available to researchers at other Institutions and research centres for collaborative clinical research in relevant areas
   

To fulfil these requirements, we have established a core management team.

At BRIC, we ensure a safe and ethical working environment for conducting research in people (both study subjects and 'normal', healthy volunteers) by following the current guidelines and statutes on working practices for research in general and specific to MRI.

BRIC is the Imaging Core for the WTCRF and is also an integral part of the Division of Clinical Neurosciences and the Centre for Clinical Brain Science.
