We deliver educational materials related to imaging in research. Materials are delivered on line in eLearning format, so that you can study anywhere, anytime.
While Neuroimaging is the focus, principles taught can be extended into most situations where imaging is used in research. Out content starts with lectures which are supported by tutors, interactive discussion boards, self-appraisals, and reading lists.
eLearning materials themselves cover techniques and physics, applications of techniques in various diseases, practicalities of performing imaging in research, common image processing techniques, neuro-anatomy, statistics and how to design a study.
We provide specific expertise and focus in Functional Imaging (including fMRI), Image Analysis and Translational Imaging.
Our materials can be accessed either through the MSc Neuroimaging for Reserach - http://www.neuroimage.ed.ac.uk/elearninginfo/structure/structure.asp or on a more individual, "bite sized" basis via Continuing Professional Development (CPD) - http://www.neuroimage.ed.ac.uk/elearninginfo/CPD/bitesized.asp.
The MSc is a full University of Edinburgh degree; CPD/CME is accredited by the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR).
